Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin, who was raised in Wellington but was born and raised in Winnipeg made her acting d but in The Piano. At age 11 years old, she became the youngest Academy Award winner ever for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was the first Canadian native New Zealand actress. As an infant, she won the Academy Award for best support actress. The role she played as the empathetic and curious young girl Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) was the reason she won the prize.
