Zoe Saldana is the child of Asalia Saldana and Aridio Nazario. She was born in Passaic (New Jersey) on 19th June 1978. The father of Zoe Saldana is Dominican and her mother is Puerto Rican. Her parents raised their daughter within Queens, New York. When she was 10, she along with her parents relocated to the Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years. Zoe's love for dancing was spurred by the time they lived in the Dominican Republic. Zoe started her dance training at ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy.
