Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been an actor, director as well as a producer, playwright, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" born in Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her performances as a kid as well as watching her mother doing her job. In her early years, Anna played in commercials for a number of companies. In the month of November, 1999 Anna relocated to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up shifting in Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and they renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton.
