StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her first film role was Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. Then she appeared in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was the main character in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both shows. Sigman was born to an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman (a New York Yankees Scout from Kansas) and Lee Sigman, who were both born in Ciudad Obregon. By virtue of her father, she's an U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] The father of her, former baseball athlete Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. She started her career in Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the role of Laura Guerrero, the lead in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. [6] The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8But, it did not make the cut. For her performance in the film, Sigman was nominated in 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award. In 2011, she was in Catalina Aguado, the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. 2013 saw Sigman play the role of Catalina Aguado in the Norwegian thriller Pioneer
